As Gil, Owen's eccentricities, actions, speech designs along with other tools on his palette appear to mirror what the west sights of Allen, but Owen managed to get all their own. Besides Owen weave with the present and past within this film, the same is true his acting, which maneuvers between subtle, comedy and reflective.
